EDIT: Party-vi got it.
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
Got a part. Let’s see who can guess it.
Only clues I’m giving is it’s a popular upgrade across a wide range of vehicles and does not directly affect the engine.

Speed holes may be involved, but only in the literal sense that this replaces another part currently residing in a hole and may well help me to go faster.

The only muffler whistle I’ll consider putting on will be a turbo.
This is not that.

Fancy air filter? Does that count as “directly affecting” the engine?

Not yet, but that’s up next. Screw K&N and all oiled filters though, I’m going AEM dry.

Mine is better tho
...LS2, maybe, but I’d rather do that to a truck that wasn’t unique to start.

I've heard oiled filters screw up air sensors. Never used one myself.

Oiled filters are OK when used properly. However:
- My brother had one and didn’t use it right. Over oiled and didn’t clean the MAF. Went through an engine and a transmission with all the sensors fighting each other.
- I don’t trust myself not to make the same mistake.
- K&N do flow better, but they let in a TON of impurities. AEM looks like the best balance available.
